Advanced Practitioner / Advance Practice Provider / Physician Assistant

Job Details:

• Full-time position, 30 hours per week, day shifts
• Provide an integrated care experience for gynecologic patients including surgical assistance in the gynecologic operating room and outpatient gynecologic care
• Assist obstetrician-gynecologists in laparoscopic, open, and robotic surgeries during weekdays
• Strong experience with the DaVinci Robot is highly preferred
• Provide perioperative and postoperative evaluation, management, and patient education in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history-taking and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions under physician supervision
• Develop and implement treatment plans including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests under physician supervision
• Interpret laboratory and imaging results to guide patient care decisions
• Collaborate with obstetric-gynecologic physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Participate in daily rounds to discuss patient progress, treatment adjustments, and discharge planning
• Participate in periodic perioperative education for students and learners on the gynecologic rotation
• Active Massachusetts Physician Assistant license is required
• DEA registration is required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required as a condition of employment
