Job summary

Premise Health Inc. invites you to join our Frisco, TX Health Center as a Full-Time Physician Assistant. You will provide care to client employees and their dependents, conduct exams, manage treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians.

Hours are Mon-Fri 6:30am-6:00pm and Sat 7:30am-12:00pm. We require NCCPA certification, a ARC-PA accredited degree, and at least three years in ambulatory or ED settings; DEA license and state licenses as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current NCCPA national certification is required.
• Degree from an ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license for state(s) of practice.
• State narcotic/controlled-substance license if required.
• BLS certification (hands-on training); ACLS may be required.
• At least three years of PA clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or ED.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices

As a Full-Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Frisco, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 7:30am-12:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration).
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
