Job summary

Premise Health in Celebration, FL is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant to provide care to client employees and their dependents in our onsite Health Center.

This Advanced Practice Provider role blends women’s health, primary care and lifestyle medicine in a supportive clinical environment, with a 4-day workweek and 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include exams, preventive care, care plans, patient education, diagnostic orders, and coordinating with physicians for comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Strong Advanced Practice Professional with women’s health focus and primary care experience.
• Lifestyle medicine experience is required or highly desired.
• Board certification/licensing requirements: NCCPA, ARC-PA program, DEA license; BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located inCelebration, FL.

Schedule:

4-day workweek | Full-time | 40 hours/week | Hours are7:00 AM–5:30 PM and8:30 AM–7:00 PM

• Week 1: Monday–Thursday
• Week 2: Tuesday–Friday
• Every other weekend enjoy a 4-day weekend!
• Every 5 weeks: Work a remote week providing virtual patient visits from home.

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable)
• Current NCCPA national certification required
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
