Job Summary: Geisinger Gastroenterology is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our team at the Geisinger Multi Specialty Clinic in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties:

1. Join an established team of physicians, APs, and nursing staff.
2. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks in collaboration with physicians to ensure patient care is delivered effectively and compassionately, aiming to increase patient satisfaction and outcomes.
3. Assist in gathering data necessary for implementing the physician's therapeutic plan.
4. Act as a patient advocate within the medical care system, serving as a confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, families, and physicians.

Reporting structure: Clinically to the Director of GI and administratively to the GI Chief Advanced Practitioner.

Position Details:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant (Required), Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
• Certifications and Licenses: Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA), Basic Life Support Certification.
