Job Summary

Geisinger Gastroenterology is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our team at the Geisinger Multi Specialty Clinic in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties

1. Join an established team of physicians, APs, and nursing staff.
2. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks in collaboration with the physician to ensure patient care is delivered in a caring and efficient manner, aiming to increase patient satisfaction and outcomes.
3. Assist in gathering data necessary for implementing the physician's therapeutic plan.
4. Act as a patient advocate within the medical care system, serving as a confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, families, and physicians.

This position reports clinically to the Director of GI and administratively to the GI Chief Advanced Practitioner.
