Job summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Pulmonary team in Sylvania, Ohio. This inpatient position supports Pulmonary Critical Care with four inpatient APPs and a full administrative staff, offering four 10-hour shifts per week and minimal weekend or holiday rotation.

You will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, working independently and with physicians to deliver

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP for NP applicants.
• Acute Care Certification required for NP candidates.
• Master's degree for PA applicants.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing CME and professional development.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - either an Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - to join our healthcare team in Sylvania Ohio.

Schedule: 4 10-Hour shifts per week

Minimal weekend/holiday rotation

Inpatient based position with limited outpatient clinic coverage

Practice alongside 4 inpatient APPs and full administrative staff for support

In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across Pulmonary Critical Care services. Working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
• Acute Care Certification required for Nurse Practitioner candidates
• Master's degree for Physician Assistant applicants.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS,
• etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
