Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner to join the Hospitalist team. The role features a 7 on 7 off, 12-hour day shift with no call obligations, and inpatient rounding alongside physicians on acute complex patients.

Applicants must hold MSN or DNP (NP path) or a Master’s degree (PA path), plus state licensure and Acute Care Certification for NP roles. Current CPR (AHA) certification is required, and Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NP applicants must have MSN or DNP.
• PA applicants must have a Master’s degree.
• State licensure in required state(s).
• Current AHA CPR certification required.
• NP must have Acute Care Certification.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding with physicians on acute complex patients.
• 40-hour work week with 7 on/7 off 12-hour day shifts.
• No call obligations for this hospitalist role.
• Provide patient care across inpatient settings within the hospitalist team.
