ProMedica is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for Pulmonary Critical Care in Sylvania, Ohio. The role requires an Acute Care NP or PA with inpatient focus and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

The position features 4 ten-hour shifts per week, limited weekend/holiday rotation, and collaboration with a full inpatient APP and administrative support staff.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP degree required for NP applicants.
• Acute Care Certification required for NP applicants.
• Master’s degree required for Physician Assistant applicants.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) of care.
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current AHA certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) applicable to role.
• Commitment to ongoing CME and professional development.

Job Summary:

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) — either an Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — to join our healthcare team in Sylvania Ohio.

• Schedule: 4 10-Hour shifts per week
• Minimal weekend/holiday rotation
• Inpatient based position with limited outpatient clinic coverage
• Practice alongside 4 inpatient APPs and full administrative staff for support

In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across Pulmonary Critical Care services. Working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Requirements:

• Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
• Acute Care Certification required for Nurse Practitioner candidates
• Master’s degree for Physician Assistant applicants.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS,
• etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
