Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a per diem position in our OB/GYN department. Responsibilities include providing inpatient care at the Cambridge Hospital and assisting with maternity care. The role requires working independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, preferably during nights with 12-hour shifts.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to serving underserved communities and collaborate effectively in an acute care environment. Previous experience in academic safety-net systems is preferred.

Physician Assistant, OB/GYN – Per Diem

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant to work per diem in our OB/GYN department.

• Provide inpatient care at the Cambridge Hospital
• Work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of providers in an inpatient setting
• Days, nights, and weekends; nights preferred; expectation of 12 hour shifts at a minimum of once a month
• Assist in delivery of maternity care on the L&D unit, maternity triage, inpatient rounding for GYN patients, ED consults, and first assist in operative cases
• Per diem hourly rate: $96.28

Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to serving our underserved, multicultural patient population, and must be able to collaborate effectively in an acute, fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team environment. Previous employment in an academic safety‑net system is a plus.
