Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join our OB/GYN team on the Labor and Delivery/Maternity unit. You will work independently in collaboration with MDs across inpatient settings, providing care in L&D, Maternity, L&D Triage, inpatient GYN rounding, ER consults, and first assist in OR cases.

The position offers a 36-hour workweek across three 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation including weekends, no call, and teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years OB/GYN experience or strong interest in Women’s Health.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MDs in an inpatient Labor and Delivery/Maternity unit.
• Deliver care in Labor & Delivery, Maternity, L&D Triage, Inpatient GYN rounding, ER consults, and first assist in OR cases.
• Work 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation incl. weekends.
• No call required and Epic EMR is used for documentation.

We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Physician Assistant to join our OB/GYN team. Our system consists of three campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s Metro North Region. CHA is a teaching affiliate of both Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Tufts University School of Medicine.

• Incoming OB/GYN PA will work independently in collaboration with a team of MDs in an inpatient setting on our Labor and Delivery/Maternity unit.
• PA will deliver care in Labor & Delivery unit, Maternity, L&D Triage, Inpatient Rounding for GYN, ER consults, and first assist in OR cases
• 36 hours per week; three - 12 hour shifts
• Day/Night Rotating including weekends
• No call required
• Teaching opportunities are available as well as involvement with ongoing quality improvement initiatives
• Fully integrated EMR (Epic)
• Physician Assistants with experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology are encouraged to apply

The guaranteed base salary range of $105,936–$159,868 pro-rated for part-time positions.Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of OB/GYN experience and/or strong interest in Women’s Health.
