Job summary

Medrina is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our physician‑owned group in the Duluth, MN area. The role focuses on post‑acute and rehabilitative care in a Skilled Nursing Facility, including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, in collaboration with a lead provider.

The candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, develop treatment plans, and document thoroughly in EMR.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota license and Wisconsin license as PA.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of PA clinical experience (SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab preferred).
• Experience caring for adult/geriatric populations.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and time management skills.

Responsibilities

We are a growing, physician‑owned medical group expanding in the Duluth, MN area, seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role focuses on post‑acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, working alongside a collaborative lead provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post‑stroke care, and chronic pain conditions
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license in Minnesota and Wisconsin
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a PA (SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab experience strongly preferred)
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
