Allina Health is seeking a MIGS Physician Assistant to provide first-assist and perioperative support across a high-volume MIGS program. You will work with four MIGS surgeons across Mercy Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, United Hospital and multiple Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

The role includes operating room assistance, preop evaluations, inpatient rounds, discharge planning, and outpatient follow-up, with potential for evening/weekend coverage as the program grows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in MN upon hire.
• NCCPA certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist and perioperative support for MIGS surgeries.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and clinic visits.
• Enter and manage preoperative and postoperative orders.
• Conduct inpatient postoperative rounds and discharge planning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and referrals.
• Support development of MIGS program and urgent gynecologic surgery coverage.
