MainStreet Family Care in Monroeville, AL is hiring a Physician Assistant for a full-time, high-volume urgent care role. You will provide patient-focused care across all ages, lead a small team, and work with strong support protocols to ensure best practices.

Open to new grads; on-site HQ orientation and training, plus grants and tuition reimbursement programs to help you grow your career in a rural care setting.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!)
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
