Job summary

MainStreet Family Urgent Care in Montgomery, Alabama, is hiring a physician assistant for a full-time role in a high-volume urgent care setting. You will lead a small team, manage patients across age groups, and utilize your full scope of practice with strong support and structured orientation.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcome).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (we cover the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID and other URIs.
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management and x-ray review.
• Provide dermatology, eye care, EKG interpretations, and emergency management as needed.
• Treat patients of all ages including pediatric and geriatric.
