Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Andalusia, AL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will deliver patient-centered care across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with leadership opportunities in a high-volume setting. New grads welcome.

We provide onboarding, on-site HQ orientation, and ongoing support to help you grow. You’ll work a full scope of practice and lead a small team of medical assistants while delivering

Qualifications

• PA board certification is required.
• MSN or higher education is required.
• DOT certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other URIs.
• Perform minor procedures (toe/nail removal, foreign body removal).
• Carry out suturing and splinting as needed.
• Conduct general orthopaedic evaluations/management.
• Review X-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• Handle general dermatology and eye issues.
• Perform general EKG interpretations.
• Provide emergency management when needed.
• Possess general GYN expertise.
• Treat children of all ages.
• Provide occupational medicine and telemedicine services.
