Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in Sunset Park is seeking a Physician Assistant - Interventional Cardiology to join our team. The PA will provide care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and related subspecialties, following established standards and guiding nursing and staff.

Minimum qualifications include PA degree, NYS licensure, BLS, DEA, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• PA degree from an accredited program and NYS license.
• DEA certificate and BLS are required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals and families per departmental goals.
• Write orders and manage patient care under physician supervision.
• Document patient encounters, notes, and discharge plans.
• Participate in rounds with attending staff and housestaff.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and committees.
• May be on call during non-working hours.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program

Licensed as a Physician Assistant in New York State (NYS)

DEA Certificate

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
