Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in Sunset Park seeks a Physician Assistant - Interventional Cardiology to join the team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will provide patient care following established standards and collaborate with nursing and other staff.

The role requires NYS PA license, BLS, a DEA certificate, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. On-call duties may be required to support attendings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• DEA certificate required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice within the scope of delineated privileges.
• Provide direct care to patients consistent with department goals.
• Documentation of patient encounters and treatment.
• Evaluation and management of critical care patients; participate in rounds.
• May be on call during non-working hours for urgent situations.
• Direct, instruct and evaluate PA students and medical students.
