Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in NY.
• BLS certification; DEA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Practices within delineated privileges and provides direct patient care in the Cath Lab and subspecialties as needed.
• Document patient encounters including assessments, orders, and treatments.
• Participate in rounds with attending staff and housestaff; collaborate with healthcare professionals and families.
• Maintain unit records and participate in quality improvement activities.
• May be on call during non-working hours to assist attendings in urgent situations.
