Qualifications

• Must have PA licensure in applicable state(s).
• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant.
• Active PA certification (NCCPA).
• DEA registration prior to hire.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and determine treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies; prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Manage conditions with evidence-based care, considering risks, benefits, and alternatives.
• Provide health promotion and disease prevention counseling for patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and refer as needed.
• Document accurately in the EMR and submit compliant coding and billing.
• Support coordinated care and clear communication across healthcare team and community partners.
• Perform office or hospital procedures per scope and privileges.
• Participate in quality, safety, and peer-review activities and committees.
• Educate onboarding staff and students; advance clinical skills and profession.
