Job summary

Brio Living Services in Jackson, MI seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join the Participant Care team. This exempt, full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, supporting medically complex older adults in a PACE setting.

You will collaborate with nursing, social work, therapy, pharmacy, and home care to design care plans, perform exams, order tests, and manage medications, while participating in interdisciplinary team meetings for comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
• Current Michigan Physician Assistant licensure required.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan.
• Current Michigan Controlled Substance License and DEA registration.
• Current national certification through NCCPA.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in primary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform health histories, physical exams, and patient education.
• Order, interpret, and follow-up on lab tests and results.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and coordinate participant care.
• Collaborate with ER physicians and hospital staff to manage care and expeditious discharge.
• Educate participants and families on preventive health maintenance.
