Job summary

Brio Living Services in Jackson, MI, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join Thome PACE. You’ll provide comprehensive care to medically complex older adults, collaborating with nursing, social work, therapy, and pharmacy to tailor care plans.

This exempt, salary role offers strong benefits and work-life balance. You’ll perform histories and exams, order labs, and coordinate care across settings, ensuring timely reviews and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
• Current Michigan Physician Assistant licensure required.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan.
• Current Michigan Controlled Substance License and DEA registration.
• Current national certification through NCCPA, as applicable.
• Minimum of five years of clinical PA experience, preferably in primary care/geriatrics.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Take health histories, perform exams, and educate patients.
• Order, interpret labs, and follow up on results.
• Document care and coordinate participant care.
• Initiate and evaluate orders for meds and tests per physician-approved protocols.
• Provide emergency care as needed.
• Collaborate with IDT to manage and monitor care.
• Educate participants and families on preventive health maintenance.
