Altea Healthcare in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for post-acute and skilled nursing care. This full-time role focuses on diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination in a collaborative team.

You will perform exams, order tests, prescribe medications, educate patients, and partner with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care. Vent and Trach experience preferred; training and mentorship available; competitive pay up to 160K with uncapped bonuses.

Qualifications

• PA-C License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Very strong communication skills and team collaboration are essential.
• Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Educate patients and families on health and preventive care.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As a PA-C, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
