Job summary

Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a Per Diem position in the North Region of Texas. The role supports urgent care and emergency medicine across multiple centers, treating both pediatric and adult patients with emphasis on quality and patient experience.

Required: PA with 2+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine, proficient with sutures, splints, EKGs and X-ray interpretation, and board certifications with an active state license.

Qualifications

• PA: 2 or more years of full-time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care clinical services to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform minor procedures and manage acute episodic conditions.
• Read EKGs and X-rays and coordinate patient care with GoHealth Urgent Care team.

North Region Centers

Benders Landing, Bridgeland, Cypress Market, Kingwood, Magnolia Place, The Woodlands, Willis, Springwoods Village, Steeplechase, Rock Creek, Market Street-Woodlands, Louetta, Tomball, Harpers Preserve

Our Advanced Practitioners (NP/PAs) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

Work Experience

PA: 2 or more years of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations. Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.

Bachelors Degree Required Licenses/Certifications: National Certifications Active state medical licensure
