Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for GoHealth Urgent Care as a Per Diem provider in the North Region. You will treat both adult and pediatric patients in our fast-paced urgent care centers.

Requirements include 2+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine, Master’s degree in nursing, active state licensure, and national certifications. Minor procedures, EKGs, and X-ray interpretation are part of the role.

Due to our growth and expansion, Memorial Hermann - GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners who have urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients.

Our Advanced Practitioners (NP/PAs) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.

It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

Work Experience

• NP: 2 or more years of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.

Education

• Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
