Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our on-site, full-time orthopedic team in Newnan, GA. You will support a fellowship-trained surgeon and manage patients in clinical settings, with opportunities to assist in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent clinical judgement and problem-solving ability.
• Clear, professional communication with both colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Support a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in clinical and surgical settings.
• See and manage patients independently in clinical settings.
• Assist in operating room as needed.
• Perform hospital and emergency room consultations.
• Provide follow-ups, inpatient rounding, and participate in call rotation.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
