Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in New Canaan is expanding with a brand-new facility in Fairfield County and seeks Advanced Practitioners to join our team. You will deliver patient-centered care, perform hands-on procedures, and collaborate with specialists to ensure excellent outcomes.

We offer competitive compensation with a $25,000 sign-on/retention bonus and a monthly productivity bonus, along with comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• State Medical License in good standing.
• Active Controlled Substance Registration.
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner (AP).
• PALS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Strong background in procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and orthopedic care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide top-notch medical care.
• Perform essential clinical procedures like suturing, wound management, and emergency care.

• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.
• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
