Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in New Haven County is seeking a Physician Assistant to float across locations, delivering high-quality urgent care to diverse patients. You will evaluate and treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced setting, perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, and wound management, and collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to optimize outcomes.

  • Active State Medical License
  • Controlled Substance Registration
  • Advanced Practitioner certification
  • PALS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
  • Experience performing routine urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and orthopedic-related care

Qualifications:



  • State Medical License

  • Controlled Substance Registration

  • Certification as an Advanced Practitioner

  • PALS and ACLS Certification

  • A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.

  • Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.

  • Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
