Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Enfield, CT is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join a brand-new facility. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and deliver top-notch medical care in a collaborative urgent care environment.

With 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred, you will perform suturing, wound management, and other essential procedures while supporting patient outcomes and community care initiatives.

Qualifications

• State Medical License required.
• Controlled Substance Registration required.
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner required.
• PALS and ACLS Certification required.
• 1 year of full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Experience performing routine procedures (laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, ortho care) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care assessments and develop care plans.
• Perform essential clinical procedures (suturing, wound management, emergency care).
• Collaborate with specialists and other providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• State Medical License
• Controlled Substance Registration
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.
• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
