Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Enfield, CT is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and provide top-notch medical care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• State Medical License is required to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Advanced Practitioner Certification demonstrates credentialing for independent practice.
• PALS and ACLS certification required or strongly preferred for urgent care settings.
• 1 year of full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Strong background in performing routine procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and orthopedic-related treatments.

• Controlled Substance Registration
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.
• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
