Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Stamford, CT is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our brand new Stamford facility. You will provide patient care, develop care plans, and contribute to a high-performance urgent care team.

We offer a $25,000 sign-on bonus, a two-tier annual retention bonus of $5,000 then $7,500 plus a monthly productivity bonus, flexible scheduling, competitive benefits, and a mission-driven culture aligned with the Yale brand.

Qualifications

• State Medical License is required.
• Active Controlled Substance Registration.
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner (PA/NP).
• PALS and ACLS certifications required or in process.
• At least 1 year of full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Experience with routine urgent care procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and provide top-notch medical care.
• Perform essential clinical procedures like suturing, wound management, and emergency care.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.


• Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.


• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
