Job summary

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care seeks dedicated Physician Assistants to join our expanding team in Northern Virginia. This full-time role offers patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent care setting, with opportunities to impact community health.

Ballston/South Alex/Pickett locations provide a stable schedule; 3-12 hour shifts, 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, with every other weekend. PRN not available.

Qualifications

• NP: Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice or post-master’s certificate program is required.
• PA: Graduate of accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
• BLS & ACLS Certification required.
• Licensed FNP or PA in Virginia; DEA License; signed Practice Agreement/Scope of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Collaborate with a physician-led team across locations in Northern Virginia.

Compensation Range:

This position is paid on a salaried basis; however, the equivalent hourly rate ranges from $69.00 to $77.00 per hour, depending on experience, location, and FTE status. Total compensation may also include bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is looking for dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistants to join our expanding team. We currently have a Full-time opportunity available at are Northern Virginia locations. At this time we do not have any PRN openings.

This is an excellent chance to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and fast-paced urgent care environment while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Full ‑Time Schedule Overview

• Total Shifts: 3- 12 hour shifts and every other weekend
• Shift Length: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (12 hours each)

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• NP: Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice or post-master’s certificate program
• PA: Graduate of accredited PA program and NCCPA certification

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

Licensure & Certification:

• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Licensed FNP or PA in Virginia
• DEA License
• Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol

Credentialing Requirements:

• Successful completion of payer credentialing (Medicare/Medicaid)
• Medical Staff credentialing for clinical privileges
