Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to provide care for client employees and dependents in our Ardmore, OK health center. You’ll conduct exams, manage preventive care, and support chronic disease management in a low-volume clinic.

The role offers provider autonomy, a collaborative physician, and a predictable 32-hour schedule with potential for 40 hours. Some months may expand based on client/DOT approvals and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• State licenses to practice in Oklahoma and any necessary jurisdictions.
• Federal DEA license (matching state of practice) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive care per guidelines.
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments including medications.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.

As a Full Time Physician Assistant, you’ll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Ardmore, OK.

The scheduled hours are Monday 2:00PM - 6:00PM, Tuesday - Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00PM and Friday 7:00AM - 11:00AM

• Enjoy meaningful provider autonomy in a low-volume clinic while providing a diverse mix of primary care, chronic disease management, women’s health, and light occupational health.
• Join a close-knit, supportive team with one dedicated MA, a responsive collaborative physician, and strong local client support
• Predictable 32-hour schedule with potential for 40 hours! Work Monday–Friday with a balanced schedule, with the opportunity to expand Monday and/or Friday hours pending client/DOT approval.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration).
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
