Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant to provide primary care to client employees and their dependents at our Health Center in Ardmore, OK. The schedule offers a predictable 32-hour baseline with potential for 40 hours, Monday 2:00PM-6:00PM, Tue-Thu 8:00AM-5:00PM, Fri 7:00AM-11:00AM.

You will conduct exams, perform procedures, develop care plans, educate patients, order tests, collaborate with physicians, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Active DEA license and state narcotics license as applicable.
• Valid BLS/ACLS certification for health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to employees and dependents in the Ardmore Health Center.
• Perform physical exams, preventive care, and routine procedures.
• Develop care plans, document progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; collaborate with physicians.
• Prescribe treatments and refer to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and participate in team duties.

As a Full Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Ardmore, OK.

The scheduled hours are Monday 2:00PM - 6:00PM, Tuesday - Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00PM and Friday 7:00AM - 11:00AM

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration).
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
