Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Physician Concierge Services team member in Worcester, MA. This role focuses on enhanced customer service for physician offices, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely patient access and high-quality care.

The position requires 2–3 years in a healthcare setting, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication and customer service skills. Epic experience is preferred and a signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in a physician office or health care setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and general patterns of patient care.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; proficient with word processing and spreadsheets/databases.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced customer service support to physician offices in assigned territories.
• Schedule patient appointments with appropriate provider, location, and time frame.
• Escalate access and service issues to leadership to ensure satisfaction.
• Build relationships with community providers and their staff to increase network participation.
• Answer the 1-800-431-5151 Physician Concierge line professionally and help callers.
