• Provide clinical support/supervision for advanced practice providers when necessary

POSITION SUMMARY

Licensed physicians provide clinical care for patients living in the Northwest Arctic Borough and Pt. Hope, Alaska. When necessary, subspecialty consultation is usually obtained from specialists in Anchorage and/or Fairbanks.

Job Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• M.D. or D.O., from accredited medical school. Unrestricted Physician License (Commissioned Corps-any state including Puerto Rico).
• Board Eligible/Board Certified.
• Credentials and privileges approved by Maniilaq Medical Staff and Board of Directors.
