SERC Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in Sedalia, MO

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT/PTA or OT/OTA, the technician will provide limited assistance to therapists with patient activities consistent with the scope of the Missouri Physical Therapy Practice Act. This position supports the mission, vision, and values of SERC Physical & Hand Therapy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist therapists with patient activities under supervision, within the scope of the Missouri Physical Therapy Practice Act.
2. Perform clinic maintenance tasks such as laundry, cleaning tables, stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and maintaining overall tidiness of the clinic.
3. Answer phones, schedule patients, document cancellations, co-pays, and patient supplies, locate charts and supplies, and operate office equipment like copiers and fax machines.
4. Communicate effectively, understand physical therapy equipment and procedures, follow instructions, and assist in patient preparation for therapy.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
