Job summary

Spooner-Incorporated is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to support therapists, assist patients with prescribed exercises, and help maintain a positive, safe treatment environment at our Phoenix practice. The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and delivering excellent patient experiences.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is 18+, and may be pursuing studies in Kinesiology, Biology, or Exercise Science. No prior PT tech experience required but preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Majoring in Kinesiology/Biology/Exercise Science preferred.
• Experience as a physical therapy technician is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and treatment.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in therapeutic activities and daily living tasks.
• Observe patients during exercises and document responses to treatment for therapists.
• Communicate patient progress and reactions to the supervising therapist.
