Job summary

Spooner in Mesa, AZ, a long-standing private practice, seeks a physical therapy technician to support therapists and enhance patient outcomes. You will assist with exercises, transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Majoring in Kinesiology/Biology/Exercise Science preferred.
• Prior experience or knowledge as a physical therapy technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and ensure safety and positive outcomes.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in learning/performing functional activities.
• Observe patients during treatment and record progress and responses.
• Communicate patient progress to the therapist clearly and timely.
