Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide our therapy team and deliver compassionate patient care at our Wesley Chapel location during a hiring event. You’ll partner with the Director of Therapy Operations to schedule, orient, train, and support staff while maintaining clinical excellence.

State licensure, CPR, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in physical therapy with leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program; minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily therapy team operations (scheduling, orientation, training, communication).
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships to aid in recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and maintain high-quality, compassionate care.
