Job summary

Rothman Orthopaedics is hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Front Desk Receptionist for our Glen Mills, PA office. The role greets patients, schedules visits, and handles insurance verification and authorizations to ensure smooth PT/OT operations.

Responsibilities include updating patient records, collecting co-pays, and coordinating with therapists for efficient clinic flow. Candidates should have a medical office background and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED minimum education requirement.
• Minimum of one years' experience in medical office environment.
• Computer skills including MS Office.
• Knowledge of business office procedures & medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Checks in patients, verifies and updates demographic and insurance information in eCW.
• Update the eCW system on patients’ arrival and referral information.
• Utilizes eCW to enter co-payments and notes to the Business Office.
• Checks out and makes patient follow-up appointment with Physical Therapy Provider.
• Handles scheduling duties to maximize clinic and therapist flow.
• Verifies and documents PT/OT benefits for all new patients.
