Job summary

Mercy in Ferguson, MO is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (24 hours per week) to support the therapy team across Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts. You will administer modalities, assist therapists, and help maintain patient records and department efficiency.

The role requires graduation from a PTA program, an active PTA license in Missouri, and BLS within 90 days, with knowledge of allied health. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities in a collaborative team.

Under the general supervision of department management and the direct supervision of staff Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants, will administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures. Will also assist in: medical records, upkeep of department appearance and equipment, and provide any support help needed for improved Department functioning.

Position Details:

Position: Part-time - 24 hours per week

Shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Flexible hours: Friday 4 hours and Saturday/Sunday 10-hour shifts or three (3) - 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of PTA Program.

Licensure: PTA License in the state of practice.

Experience: Experience with therapy preferred.

Certifications: BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Other: Must have knowledge or background in Allied Health field.
