Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join the team. You will administer modalities and exercises under supervision, help maintain medical records and department readiness, and support overall department functioning to improve patient care.

Shifts include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with flexible hours: 4 hours Friday and either 10-hour shifts on Sat/Sun or three 8-hour shifts, totaling 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PTA program required.
• PTA license in the state of practice required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures under supervision.
• Assist with medical records, department appearance and equipment upkeep.
• Provide support to improve department functioning and patient care.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of PTA Program.

Licensure: PTA License in the state of practice.

Experience: Experience with therapy preferred.

Certifications: BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Other: Must have knowledge or background in Allied Health field.
