Job summary

Mercy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Overland, MO. Under the supervision of Physical and Occupational Therapists, you will assist in delivering therapeutic modalities and exercises to patients, and help with medical records and department upkeep.

Shifts are Friday, Saturday and Sunday with 24 hours per week. A Missouri PTA license is required, and BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire; experience in therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with therapy preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Licensure: PTA license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures.

Will also assist in: medical records, upkeep of department appearance and equipment, and provide any support help needed for improved Department functioning.

Position Details:

Position: Part-time - 24 hours per week

Shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Flexible hours: Friday 4 hours and Saturday/Sunday 10-hour shifts or three (3) - 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of PTA Program.

Licensure: PTA License in the state of practice.

Experience: Experience with therapy preferred.

Certifications: BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Other: Must have knowledge or background in Allied Health field.
