Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will administer modalities and exercises, help with patient care, manage records, and support department operations.

This part-time role offers 24 hours per week with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. A valid PTA license in the state of practice and BLS within 90 days are required; therapy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PTA Program.
• PTA License in the state of practice.
• BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge or background in Allied Health field.

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of department management and the direct supervision of staff Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants, will administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures. Will also assist in: medical records, upkeep of department appearance and equipment, and provide any support help needed for improved Department functioning.

Position Details:

Position: Part-time - 24 hours per week

Shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Flexible hours: Friday 4 hours and Saturday/Sunday 10-hour shifts or three (3) - 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of PTA Program.

Licensure: PTA License in the state of practice.

Experience: Experience with therapy preferred.

Certifications: BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Other: Must have knowledge or background in Allied Health field.
