Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support rehabilitation services for residents. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will assist with mobility, strength, and balance exercises, and help patients regain independence after serious illness or orthopedic procedures.

You will document all services, ensure adherence to the Plan of Care, and coordinate with the care team to address patient needs and safety in a compassionate, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license or license eligibility in the state of practice.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FullShift Staffing policy prohibits discrimination in employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists to provide patient care to residents recovering from illness or injury.
• Document all services for accurate billing and care continuity.
• Follow Plan of Care and organizational guidelines to ensure quality care.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Refer to other disciplines as needed to address comprehensive patient needs.
