Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support our therapists in helping patients recover from serious illness, injury, or surgery. You will assist with rehabilitative exercises, mobility training, and balance/gait activities while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Under supervision, you will document services and contribute to planning individualized plans of care to restore function and independence for residents in short-term and transitional care settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid PTA license or eligibility in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists to deliver quality patient care.
• Document services provided for accurate billing and care records.
• Ensure care follows the Plan of Care and professional standards.
