Job summary

Sunset Ridge Post Acute is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the supervising Physical Therapist in resident care in Las Vegas. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, safety, and collaboration with the care team.

You will participate in care conferences and educate residents and families on home exercises, safety, and fall prevention while maintaining equipment and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient with computer-based documentation and patient records.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and infection control.
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention.
• Assist with ordering durable medical equipment as appropriate.
