Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (ASPT).
• Active state licensure/registration in good standing.
• CPR certification required upon hire.
• 1 year post-acute care experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and email.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to follow laws, policies, and codes governing post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT-directed treatment plans for patients under supervising PT.
• Chart timely and accurately.
• Utilize therapy software effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Assist in patient evacuation.
• Maintain dependable attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and move as needed.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
