Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
• Active State PTA license in good standing.
• 1 year post-acute care experience preferred.
• CPR certification before or during orientation.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and email.
• Collaborates with patients and teams to plan care.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics and safety.
• Capable of independent decision making when needed.
• Knowledge of post-acute care laws and guidelines.
• Maintains confidentiality and obeys conduct policies.
• Follows harassment and compliance training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT-supervised treatment plans for patients.
• Chart patient information accurately and timely.
• Use therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
• Assist in evacuation of patients as needed.
• Maintain dependable attendance and reliability.
• Apply good judgment in daily responsibilities.
• Collaborate on an interdisciplinary care team.
• Adhere to safety and posture requirements during activities.
