What you will do in this role:

• Provide compassionate, quality care in a team environment within a secure setting.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation, helping impaired patients participate in tasks to improve their performance.
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and documentation of charges.
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-up programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
• Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
• CPR certification (if required).
